Green Light Displays · Policy version 2026-09 · Effective September 19, 2026
This is Green Light Innovations’ policy on the prices at which Green Light Displays products are advertised. We set it on our own, we apply it to every dealer the same way, and we do not negotiate it. It is not an agreement, and we do not ask any dealer to agree to a resale price.
What the policy is
- The minimum advertised price (MAP) for each configuration is the price shown for that configuration on greenlight-innovations.com on the day the advertisement runs. If our site shows an introductory or sale price, that lower price is the MAP for as long as it is shown.
- It covers advertising only. Advertising means any price a member of the public can see without contacting you: your website, marketplaces, search and social ads, email blasts, flyers, and price lists posted online.
- It does not cover the price you actually sell at. You are free to sell at any price you choose. A written quote to a named customer, a price given in person or by phone, a price shown only after a customer signs in or adds to cart, and a bid on a project are not advertising.
What counts as advertising below MAP
- Showing a price lower than MAP, or a strike-through or “was” price that implies one.
- Percent-off or dollar-off coupons, rebates, or free add-ons advertised with the display that bring its advertised price below MAP.
- “Call for price”, “email for price” and “add to cart to see price” are fine.
- Bundling a display with your own services (installation, content, a service plan) is fine, as long as the display is not advertised on its own below MAP.
What we do
If we see a Green Light Displays product advertised below MAP, we decide on our own what to do. That can include pausing dealer pricing, holding orders, or ending the dealer account. We do not discuss one dealer’s pricing with another dealer, and we do not accept or act on complaints as a condition of anything. We will not ask you for an assurance about your future prices and we ask you not to offer one.
Other things to know
- We hold ourselves to the same advertised prices on our own site.
- Your dealer price is a percentage off our list price. That percentage has a ceiling for each software tier (Open Android, GLI Player, Built For You), which is shown in your dealer portal.
- Please use our approved product images and the line name “Green Light Displays”. Green Light Displays are designed in the U.S., built to our specification, and delivered factory direct by Green Light Innovations — describe them this way, and never as made in the U.S. Use that sentence as written: no flag, no “American-made”, no country of manufacture added. Warranty is one year on hardware with lifetime software.
- We may change this policy at any time. The version and date at the top tell you which one you are reading, and the dealer portal asks you to read a new version when one is published.
